- NA The U.S. Department of the Interior's Minerals Management Service (MMS), Procurement Operations Branch, is the contracting office for this procurement. This is a firm-fixed price requirement using commercial item acquisition procedures from FAR Part 12 with FOB DESTINATION, New Orleans, Louisiana. All shipping and handling costs must be included in quoted price. Commercial items FAR clauses 52.212-1, 52.212-3, 52.212-4, and 52.212-5 apply to this solicitation, and may be downloaded from http://farsite.hill.af.mil. MMS Procurement will handle the solicitation and resultant contract administration as well as payment of invoices. This synopsis/solicitation intends to make a firm fixed-price sole source award to Unique Digital Technology, Inc., Houston, Texas, for a project that will consolidate and expand the disk storage capacity and the capabilities of the Network Attached Storage/Storage Area Networks architecture that presently exists. This non-competitive action is for the acquisition of one E-5600 System Command Module, Dual Controller; eight E-5600 Drive Modules, 14 Slots; 114 - 146GB Disk with Canister; 3 Rail Kits; 1 SANtricity for Windows Solaris; 3-Year, 5x9x24 On-Site Support; 3-Year SANtricity Solaris Support; 4 - 10m Fibre Cable. This procurement includes installation and configuration, with a total value of the project to be estimated at $248,347.00. This is NOT a request for competitive quotes. The intent of this Special Notice is for informational purposes only. However, all information and/or quotes received by Close of Business May 17, 2004, will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this action based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
