Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) contract under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-03-G-004 with McDonnell Douglas Coorporation (MDC), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Boeing Company, P.O. Box 516, MO 62166-0516, to provide the engineering services of hardware integration and analysis, wind tunnel tests, ground checks, flight test planning, aircraft/weapon system integration and instrumentation, ground and flight test technology and support, data reduction, documentation and reporting for integration of the Joint Common Missile (JCM) on the F/A 18 E/F Aircraft. MDC is the designer, developer, and sole manufacturer of the F/A 18 Aircraft, and is the only known firm possessing the knowlege, facilities, tooling and special test equipment to provide the engineering support required to perform the effort.
