- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with addtional information included in this notice. This announcement constitues the only solicitation; proposals are being requested a written solicitation will not be issued. The Regional Contracting Office, NE has a requirement for Labor, materials and equipment necessary for the Renovation of the F4U-4 Corsair Bureau Number 97369 for the Marine Corps Museums Branch, Quantico, VA 22134-5002. At least three references shall be provided with the response to this request for quotation. Samples for evaulation shall accompany the response to this request for quotation. In accordance with FAR 12.206 past performance data from a wide variety of sources both inside and outside the federal government in an important element of evaluation for award. Proposals will be evaluated by qualified personnel. Each proposals will be reviewed, and evaluated on its own merits. Selection will be to responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the soliciatation requirement, is determined to be the best value, and best suit the needs of the The Marine Corp Museum. A site visit will be held on Thursday May 13, 2004 at 10:00 AM at The Marine Corps Museum, located at 2212 Bauer Road, Quantico Marine Corp Base.
