- Description
- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to award, on a sole source basis, a purchase order to Dr. Prakash C. Gupta, to collect and analyze data and provide findings on the ?Collaborative Approaches to Tobacco Control in India. The authority for this sole source procurement is FAR Part 6.302-1 (a)(ii)(B) in that Dr. Gupta is the only known source who can provide the required service. This project is a collaborative effort among the Ministry of Health, the Government of India, and CDC. Firms who believe they can provide the service required are encouraged to identify themselves and give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 15 days from the publication date of this synopsis. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
