- Description
- The National Institutes of Health, NIH, The National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, NIAAA, Bethesda, MD intends to modify its existing contract with MedData Research, Inc. PO BOX 717, Walkersville, MD 21793. The purpose of this modification is to increase funds to the contract to provide additional personnel to develop and expand computer systems used for medical image processing, neurophysiological data acquisition and analysis data management, and basic research. The total contracted dollar amount, including this modification, will not exceed $5 million. MedData Research, Inc. is the only known source capable of providing these services. This action is under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253 (c)(1), as set forth in FAR 6.302-1 and HHSAR 306-302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The closing date will be forty-five (45) days after the publication of this notice. See Numbered Note 22.
