Description
Contractor is to perform cultural resources management planning and archeological, historical and architectural studies within the United States, its trust territories, other holdings, and project areas outside the Continental United States. The con tract will be an indefinite delivery contract for a base period plus four option periods. The maximum amount that can be obligated during either the base contract period or any of the option periods is $2,999,000.00. Solicitation to be issued on or about June 1, 2004 with proposals due on or about June 30, 2004. Anticipated evaluation factors will be management ability, past performance and price. If a large business is selected for this contract, it must comply with FAR 52.219-9 regarding the requireme nt for a subcontracting plan on that part of the work it intends to subcontract. The subcontracting goals for the Fort Worth District which will be considered in the negotiation of this contract are: (1) at least 57.2% of a contractor's intended subcontrac t amount be placed with small businesses, including small disadvantaged businesses (SDB) and women-owned small businesses (WOSB); (2) at least 10.0% of a contractor's intended subcontract amount be placed with SDB; (3) at least 10.0% of a contractor's inte nded subcontract amount be placed with WOSB; (4) at least 3% of a contractor's intended subcontract amount be placed with Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned SB; and, (5) at least 0.5% of a contractor's intended subcontract amount be placed with Historically Un derutilized Business (HUB) Zone certified contractors. The subcontracting plan is to be included with your proposal submission. Specifications will not be provided in a printed-paper hard copy format. The North American Industry Classification code is 541620 with a size standard of $6 million. To be eligible for co ntract award, a firm must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Register via the CCR Internet site at http://www.ccr.gov or by contacting the DoD Electronic Commerce Information Center at 1.888.227.2423. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency.
