Description

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) intends to award a sole source modification to Contract No. NRC-33-01-174 with FileNET Corporation, to acquire additional commercial software maintenance and support for the FileNET document management software suite used by the NRC for the Agency-Wide Document Access and Management System (ADAMS). This additional support is needed to cover a server not currently covered under this contract. This support can only be provided by FileNET due to the proprietary nature of the software source code, logic, diagrams/manuals, and schematics. Interruption in these services would impact the NRC?s ability to use ADAMS to retrieve Agency records vital to regulatory decision making and would disrupt public access to Agency documents. A request for quotation does not exist. Interested respondents must submit a written capability statement including technical information sufficient to demonstrate a bona fide written capability to meet this requirement to the address shown above no later than 10 calendar days from date announcement appears in the Federal Business Opportunities. Telephonic responses and responses providing insufficient information for evaluation will not be considered.
