- NOTICE OF CONTRACT ACTION. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. The National Airspace Systems (NAS) Program Office, Electronic Systems Center (ESC), Hanscom Air Force Base, MA 01731, has a requirement for additional engineering and technical support services for the conduct of site surveys, site designs, site constructions, dismantlement of existing radars, generation of frequency crystals, three-years of system engineering support at specified DoD and FAA locations, and Interim Contractor Logistics Support (ICLS) of AN/GPN-30 terminal digital airport surveillance radars (DASR). The Government intends to contract with the Raytheon Company, prime contractor on contract F19628-96-D-0038 on a sole source basis, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, as the only known responsible source for the required support and no other services will satisfy the Agency Requirements. This notice does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), nor does it restrict the Government as to the ultimate acquisition approach, nor should this notice be construed as a commitment. This requirement was previously announced in more detail in a Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS) published in FedBizOpps on 3/24/2004.
