- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This Request for Quotation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-22 effective 05 April 2004. The requirement is being solicited as a 100% Small Business Set-aside using Simplified Acquisition Procedures per FAR Subpart 13. The NAICS Code is 336611 with a Small Business Size Standard of 1000 employees. Solicitation number DTCG28-04-Q-3NS405 applies. A Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order is anticipated. The Contractor to provide all equipment, labor and materials to Renew Deck Covering Systems in (4) Compartments; Aft Crews Berthing 1-186-4-L, 240 sqft., Aft Crews Head 1-186-0-L 95 sqft. Cove=20 linear ft., Midships Crews Head 1-165-0-L 90 sqft., Cove=40 linear ft., and Passageway 1-47-0-L 225 sqft. New deck shall be One-Step Epoxy Resin. Color: Sea Foam Black. Renew vinyl base cove in Aft Crews Berthing and Passageway. Install decking over existing insulating underlay in Aft Crews Berthing and in Aft Crews Head. Remove existing insulating underlay and replace with layer of epoxy on Midships Crews Head. All work to be accomplished in accordance with the MLCA Standard Specifications 6341_STD, Renew Deck Covering Systems Appendix B, 2001 Edition.
