Description
The James H. Quillen VA Medical Center, Mountain Home, Tennessee is soliciting proposals under solicitation number 621-04-20 to provide Wheelchair Van Services. Period of Performance is date of award through May 31, 2005, with the option to extend the contract for two (2) additional one (1) year periods. NAICS is 485991 and Size Standard is $6 Million. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for award to service-disabled veteran owned small business concerns. Offers or quotations from other than service-disabled veteran-owned small business concerns will not be considered and shall be rejected. Definitions. As used in this provision: ?Service-disabled veteran-owned small business concern?- Means a small business concern ? Not less than 51 percent of which is owned by one or more service-disabled veterans or, in the case of any publicly owned business, not less than 51 percent of the stock of which is owned by one or more service-disabled veterans; and The management and daily business operations of which are controlled by one or more service-disabled veterans or, in the case of a veteran with permanent and severe disability, the spouse or permanent caregiver of such veteran. Service-disabled veteran means a veteran, as defined in 38 U.S.C. 101(2), with a disability that is service-connected, as defined in 38 U.S.C. 101(16).
