Description

CONTACT Maj. Ronald Claiborne, VIS Assistant Program Manager,(732) 532-5415. This is a Market Survey to locate additional sources for spares for the AN/VIC-3. It will be a production requirement on an IDIQ basis with First Article for those companies not already qualified. The spares are as follows: NSN 5895-01-469-3352, Control, Indicator, P/N A3206697; NSN 5895-01-469-6120, Interface Unit, P/N A3206698. The current source for these components is Northrop Grumman Corporation, Cage 2S209. Detailed technical data for the manufacture, test and acceptance of these units is not available from the Army. Suppliers capable of furnishing these units must so indicate, by writing to PM DCATS, ATTN: SFAE-PS-TS-DSC, Building 429, Ft. Monmouth,NJ 07703-5000. The response must include documentation such as test results, copy of purchase order if the supplier was a vendor to the listed source or a statement from listed source demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, supply the Army with the items that will be physically and functionally interchangeable and interoperable with the existing AN/VIC-3(v) systems from the previously known supplier (Northrop Grumman Corporation). Successful supplier may be required to warrant that the items supplied will satisfactorilly perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army. Interested parties in supplying these items should contact Maj. Claiborne to obtain an aknowledgement form, sign and return the form in order t o obtain the above listed drawings for review.
