Description

This office intends to competitively award a FFP type contract for four (4)ea special protected sedans to include driver's training. Vehicles shall be assembled as an integral armor structural component design. Armoring shall be performed during as sembly line manufacturing of the vehicle. After market, up-amoring of the vehicle is not acceptable. Minimum ballistic protection shall be IAW testing procedures utilized by the Bundeskriminalamt (BKA) and U.S. testing certification procedures. Vehicles must conform to current Department of State (DOS) specifications and standards for explosive, blast and arms protection. Vehicles are for overseas use and shall be delivered on or before hundred and fifty (150)days after DARO or earlier. Delivery is on an FOB destination basis to Germany. Anticipated issue date of the RFQ is on or about 08 June 04 with a closing date of 25 June 04. Procurement is being conducted IAW requirements of FAR Part 13, Subpart 13.5 and FAR Part 12. Interested parties may requ est a copy of the SOL from the POC (email/fax). Telephonic requests will not be honored. Receipt of written requests will be confirmed by the POC within 2 working days. Requests shall include the requestor??????s complete name and address, Tel/Fax. No a nd possibly an email address. Note 12 applies.
