Description
NAICS Code: 721110 Based on Market Research the Environmental Protection Agency intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with the Washington Hilton Embassy Row for the following (Please Note the dates are firm dates): Meeting Room Rental - March 6-10, 2005 -- Full-service conference facility and amenities to be held in Washington, DC metropolitan area, March 6-10, 2005. Must include one large conference room holding 130 persons for all days, plus a 65-person capacity conference room for March 7-9. Room set-up to include registration tables, 5 display tables, riser large enough to accommodate 10-person panel, 6 flip charts with stands and markers and a podium in each room. Conference facility must be near a Metrorail station. 002. Computer Package -- T003. Microphone package -- 004. Break Items 005. Guest room accommodations -- The conference facility will hold the following block of rooms: Saturday, 3/5/2005 - 20 rooms; Sunday, 3/6/2005 - 75 rooms; Monday, 3/7/2005 - 75rooms; Tuesday, 3/8/2005 - 75 rooms; Wednesday, 3/9/2005 - 75 rooms; Thursday, 3/10/2005 - 75 rooms. EPA's market research indicatesWashington Hilton Embassy Row is uniquely qualified to meet this requirement. Any firms believing itself capable of meeting EPA's requirements may submit technical documentation to establish the potential of complying with the statement of work. Such documentation must be submitted to the POC within 15 days of electronic posting of this notice. A determination not to compete the proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement or to proceed on a sole source basis. This acquisition is being processed under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The applicable NAICS code is 721110. The anticipated award date is 6/7/04.
