- Description
- This is a Routine 5-Year Firm Fixed Price Requirements Acquisition for a performance period that consists of a 12-month Basic and four (4) 12-month Option Periods. The Basic Best Estimated Quantity (BEQ) for the 12-month Basic will be 13 each. The BEQ for the out-years is 10 each for each of the four (4) 12-month Option Periods. Therefore, the 5-Year Best Estimated Quantity (BEQ) for this acquisition is 53 each. The item to be purchased is Sensing Element, Fire applicable to the C-5 Aircraft. The NSN is: 6340-00-510-7900UC; P/N: 7720009-103, Cage Code 92003. Form/Function: Signal conditioner, liquid level sensor, upper lobe fire suppression flame detector. DELIVERY for each of the four (5) 12-month Option Periods is 180 days after receipt of each individual order. RFP will be available at www.fedbizopps.gov only. No telephone requests. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestor will be accepted. This is a limited source procurement to: Parker Hannifin, Inc. JUSTIFICATION: 10 U.S.C. 2304 (C) (1), Only One or a Limited number of Responsible Sources, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and or to communicate concerns, if any concerning this acquisition. If your concerns are not satisfied by the contracting officer, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or the contracting officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentially as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals in the source selection process.
