Description
Naval Air Warfare Center Lakehurst New Jersey intends to negotiate and issue a 3-5 year Indefinite Quantity Indefinite Delivery, Firm Fixed Type contract consisting of a basic (minimum quantity) award and maximum estimated quantity, and reserves the right to make multiple awards. Paint reuirements are media blast all parts prime using MIL-P-53022, Type II, and paint MIL-C-82825, Type II. Contractors will be required to be located within 60 miles of Lakehurst and be in compliance with New Jersey EPA and DEP regulations for industrial painting. Contractors will be required to provide separate pricing for transportation costs; pick-up and delivery of (8) eight carts approximately every (2) weeks on an as needed basis. Pick up and delivery will occur during the hours of 7:00AM and 3:00PM excluding Fridays. The Government will provide the contractor with 48 hour notice prior to scheduled pick up of the Government Furnished Material (GFM) service trailer/carts. The finished carts are to be completed and returned to Navy Lakehurtst within 2 weeks after pick up. Inspection and acceptance will be performed at destination while the Navy reserves the right to make on-site inspections. A pre-award site visit may be required prior to contract award. The Request For Proposal (RFP) will be emailed or faxed upon request. All requests for the (RFP) must be received within 15 days. The RFP will be issued on or about 30 June 04. Any contractor seeking a Government contract must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR)database. Contracts cannot be awarded to contractors unless they are registered.
