Description
The Bureau of Prisons is seeking a Request for Quote from sources having the ability to provide OUT-PATIENT assessment and counseling services and Mental Health Services in Charleston, South Carolina in the vicinity of the Charleston CCC, located at 1929 Iris Street, North Charleston, SC 29405, for the drug abuse treatment services and mental health services for male and female Federal offenders (inmates) held under the authority of various United States Statutes. Performance period under this contract will be for a one year base period to begin on October 1, 2004 with four (4) one year option periods, with service ending (if all option years are renewed) on September 30, 2009. The services required for this contract include: Base Period: October 1, 2004 to September 30, 2005. Estimated Number of Inmates 22. (2) Intake Assessments (one per inmate); Individual Counseling Sessions (30 minute sessions per inmate) 24 Individual units x 22 inmates = 528 total units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minute sessions per inmate) 72 Group Units x 22 inmates = 1,584 total units. Family Counseling Sessions (30 minute sessions) 12 Family Units x 6 inmates = 72 total units. (6) Mental Health Intake Assessments (one per inmate). (10) Medication Monitoring (one per inmate). Intensive Outpatient Counseling (30 minute sessions) 12 Intensive Outpatient Counseling x 6 = 72 total units. Mental Health/Individual Counseling (30 minute sessions) 12 Mental Health/Individual Counseling x 6 = 72 total units. Mental Health/Group Counseling (30 minute sessions) 12 Mental Health/Group Counseling x 6 = 72 total units. Option Year One: October 1, 2005 to September 30, 2006. Estimated Number of Inmates 23. (2) Intake Assessments (one per inmate); Individual Counseling Sessions (30 minute sessions per inmate) 24 Individual units x 23 inmates = 552 total units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minute sessions per inmate) 72 Group Units x 23 inmates = 1,656 total units. Family Counseling Sessions (30 minute sessions) 12 Family Units x 6 inmates = 72 total units. (6) Mental Health Intake Assessments (one per inmate). (10) Medication Monitoring (one per inmate). Family Counseling Sessions (30 minute sessions) 12 Family Units x 6 inmates = 72 total units. (6) Mental Health Intake Assessments (one per inmate). (10) Medication Monitoring (one per inmate). Intensive Outpatient Counseling (30 minute sessions) 12 Intensive Outpatient Counseling x 6 = 72 total units. (4) Intake Assessments (one per inmate); Individual Counseling Sessions (30 minute sessions per inmate) 24 Individual units x 28 inmates = 672 total units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minute sessions per inmate) 72 Group Units x 28 inmates = 2,016 total units. Family Counseling Sessions (30 minute sessions) 12 Family Units x 6 inmates = 72 total units. (6) Mental Health Intake Assessments (one per inmate). (10) Medication Monitoring (one per inmate). Intensive Outpatient Counseling (30 minute sessions) 12 Intensive Outpatient Counseling x 6 = 72 total units. Mental Health/Individual Counseling (30 minute sessions) 12 Mental Health/Individual Counseling x 6 = 72 total units. Mental Health/Group Counseling (30 minute sessions) 12 Mental Health/Group Counseling x 6 = 72 total units. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Community Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT) Statement of Work, dated January 2004. The estimated closing date is o/a June 28, 2004. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered by this Agency. The RFQ will be posted o/a May 28, 2004. Faith-Based and Community-Based organizations have the right to submit offers/bids/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
