- Description
- Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southern Division, will be executing various construction and renovation projects at MCAS Beaufort, SC. Some of these projects will require Direct Digital Control (DDC) Systems to control the HVAC systems. The DDC systems will be INTEGRATED INTO the existing Automated Logic Corporation control system. Sources are sought to provide DDC systems as follows: Provide a DDC system as a distributed control system. System shall have stand-alone digital controllers and a communication network which will directly communicate with the existing Automated Logic system. THIS NOTICE DOES NOT SEEK TO REPLACE OR MODIFY THE EXISTING NETWORK BUT IDENTIFY COMPATIBLE SYSTEMS. The control system shall be capable of down-loading and up-loading of programs between an existing remote workstation and the digital controllers. The new DDC system shall be fully compatible with the existing Automated Logic network located in various buildings on the base, such that the existing DDC system can fully communicate with the new DDC system WITHOUT the use of gateways, routers, or front-end replacements, and without the loss of any existing capability and flexibility. The new DDC system shall be similar to the existing such that maintenance personnel have little problem learning and using the new system. The new system devices shall have Hand/Off/Auto Override switches on output modules.
