- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation/Purchase Request number FUGPL941310100 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-22 & 23, Effective 05 May 04. The Government intends to award one contract line item number (CLIN 0001), 5x9 Extabyte Next Day Maintenance, 1 each, period of performance from 1 June 04 to 31 May 05 Inspection and acceptance: DESTINATION, FOB: DESTINATION to Hanscom AFB MA shall be included. Quotations that do not include prices for all Requirements will not be considered. Deliver to Hanscom AFB, MA. 01731. The following provisions and clauses apply to this procurement: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors- Commercial. Addenda to FAR 52.212-1: FAR 52.204-7; DFARS 252.204-7004 Alternate A; FAR 52-212-3 Offeror Representations and Certification-Commercial Items (all offerors shall include a completed copy of this provision with their proposal); Addendum to 52.212-3: FAR 52.222-48 -- Exemption from Application of Service Contract Act Provisions for Contracts for Maintenance, Calibration, and/or Repair of Certain Information Technology, Scientific and Medical and/or Office and Business Equipment -- Contractor Certification; FAR 52.212-4- Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5- Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Co mmercial Items, [in paragraphs (b) and (c) the following clauses apply; 52.222-3, 52.222-19, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52-222-36, 52.225-13, 52.232-3].
