FORM/FIT/ FUNCTION: CONNECTS THE INLET CASE TO THE SYNC RING. QUANTITY RANGES 1 to 292, 293 to 583 and 584 to 875 ea. Applicable to: F100PW100/100/220/220E Engine. Destn: Tinker Air Force Base Ok 73145-3032. Delivery: 28 Feb 2005. The approximate issue date will be 11 JUN 2004. FIRST ARTICLE REQUIREMENT for non-approved sources or those that have not delivered within 3 years. This is a source-controlled item. Only sources listed are qualified. Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. The solicitation will contain instructions for obtaining further information on this requirement. The requirements of FAR 9.202(a)(1) have been completed and copies of the qualification requirements and standards may be obtained as described in the solicitation. These qualification requirements apply to line item 0001. Award will be made only if the offeror meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR 52.209-1. Award will not be held in abeyance pending qualification of other sources. Potential sources are not to utilize intellectual property of third parties without appropriate authorization of the intellectual property owner. Potential sources are cautioned that no part of the government qualification requirement is intended to endorse or encourage the improper use of intellectual property developed by the Original Equipment Manufacturer or any other third party. Specifications, plans, or drawings relating to the procurement described are incomplete or not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
