- This project includes but is not limited to the following work: The existing roof is a single ply over 2 layers of insulation. The fasteners are pulling out of the concrete deck, causing water infiltration. Remove the existing single ply roof system and layers of insulation to clean the concrete deck. Patch and repair the lightweight concrete deck. Any cracks in the deck shall be injected with a 3M brand chemical grout or epoxy repair mixture. Remove, reset and re-flash approximately five (5) roof drains, replace all metal flashing with new galvanized metal flashing. Install a new direct adhered flexible sheet roofing system. New composite roof insulation shall total 1-1/2? thick. Metal deck under concrete is covered with asbestos fireproofing. Abate ACM fireproofing and apply new fireproofing. This work will be performed at the Gerald R. Ford Federal Building, 110 Michigan Street, Grand Rapids, Michigan. The contract completion time from Notice to Proceed is 230 calendar days. This is a negotiated firm fixed price acquisition. The offeror will provide a price for the base and one option for the work to be accomplished under this acquisition. The base bid will be for ACM Abatement and the Option will be for Roof Replacement. This procurement is set aside for small business concerns only. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 562910 and the size standard is $12 Million. The solicitation will be issued on or about June 11, 2004. Once you have registered with CCR you will be required to register with FedTeDS. No federal materials can be downloaded until you have registered under both sites. You will then be required to access the vendor registration form by selecting the hyperlink entitled ?Register with FedTeDS? and then choosing the ?Vendor Registration Form? hyperlink. At a minimum all vendors must supply the following information: Your Company's Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Marketing Partner Identification Number (MPIN) (You can get this from your Company's , CCR Point of Contact )your Company's DUNS Number or CAGE Code (Contact Dun & Bradstreet at 1-800-333-0505 if you do not have a D&B Number), Your Telephone Number, Your Email Address. The solicitation cited above can only be obtained by accessing a secure website known as the Federal Technical Data Solution (FedTeDS). FedTeDS is a secure website designed to safeguard sensitive but unclassified (SBU) acquisition information. It is fully integrated with other electronic government initiatives such as FedBizOpps and the Central Contract Registration (CCR) database, and is available for use by all Federal agencies. In order to obtain information from FedTeDS, you will first be required to register with CCR.
