Description

This announcement is to notify all qualified interested parties that the 50th Contracting Squadron anticipates release of a competitive, 100% small business set aside solicitation for the procurement of Riparian Vegetation Services. Anticipated solicitation release date is on or about 18 March 2004. Contractor responsibility includes, but is not limited to, grade and fill erosion control dams, spillways, and retention ponds that have eroded greater than six inches in depth, perform seedbed preparation, and seeding the erosion control area. Potential offerors must also be able to acquire a new Truax FLX-II 86 Grass Drill or equal which will become government furnished property upon award of the contract. Contractors responding to the projected solicitation must provide product literature with their proposal. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 562910 with a size standard of $12 million. The 50th Contracting Squadron anticipates award of a firm fixed price contract from the anticipated solicitation. To be eligible for award resulting from the solicitation the contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database.
