- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, HSCG81-04-Q-W6005, is issued as an unrestricted request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-18. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clauses and provisions are available via internet address: http://www.arnet.gov/far/. Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) 1 ? Lodging, 100 Double-Occupancy Rooms, check in on August 23, 2004 and check out on September 3, 2004, for 11 days; CLIN 2 - One conference room, with seating capacity of 200 and Internet hook-up, from August 23, 2004 through September 3, 2004; CLIN 3 ? One suite, or equal, with Internet hook-up, from August 23, 2004 through Septermber 3, 2004. CLINS 1, 2 and 3 shall be located in the same facility, within 10 miles from the Military Ocean Terminal Bayonne (MOTBY), Bldg. 85, Port Terminal Blvd, Bayonne, New Jersey 07002. CLIN 4 - Lodging, 100 Double-Occupancy Rooms, check in on August 23, 2004 and check out on September 3, 2004, for 11 days; CLIN 5 - One conference room, with seating capacity of 200 and Internet hook-up, from August 23, 2004 through September 3, 2004; CLIN 6 ? One suite, or equal, with Internet hook-up. CLINS 4, 5 and 6 shall be located on the same facility on STATEN ISLAND, NY only. All lodging rooms shall be furnished with linens, housekeeping, local telephone, cable T.V. services, and parking. Proposals shall include the address and distance (mileage) of the lodging facility to MOTBY, Bayonne, New Jersey (for CLINS 1, 2 and 3), and the U S Coast Guard Station New York 10 Search Lane, Staten Island, NY 10305 (for CLINS 4, 5, and 6). Proposals shall also include all available amenities, check-in/out-times and CANCELLATION POLICY before and during occupancy. The Government will award a contract/contracts resulting from this solicitation, to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to this solicitation and is the most advantageous to the Government, price, location, cancellation terms and conditions, past performance, quality and other factors considered. OFFERS will only be considered from Offerors who ARE COMPLIANT WITH THE HOTEL AND MOTEL FIRE SAFETY ACT OF 1990. OFFEROR SHALL INCLUDE THE LODGING FACILITY FEMA NUMBER, WHICH IS REGISTERED WITH THE U. S. FIRE ADMINISTRATION. All offers will be evaluated in accordance with simplified acquisition procedures, FAR Subpart 13.106. The provisions at 52.212-1 Instruction to Offerors-Commercial Items (Oct 2000), 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions- Commercial Items (March 2001), 52.232.33 Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer-Central Contractor Registration (U.S.C. 3332) and 52.215-5 Facsimile Proposals (Oct 1997), apply to this solicitation. The provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications ? Commercial Items (May 2001), shall be completed and submitted with the RFQ.
