Description

The contractor shall manufacture and deliver consumable packs to be used with the Joint Biological Point Detection System (JBPDS). Four (4) separate items comprise the JBPDS consumable packs: Type I - Liquid Consumables; Type II - Sample Bottles; Ty pe III - Sample Vials; Type IV - Dry Collection Kit. The Contractor is required to manufacture the specified First Article Test (FAT) quantities, conduct a FAT, and manufacture and deliver the required consumable quantities as specified in the contract. A ll consumables shall be built in accordance with Performance Specification, PRF-EA-C-2268 (dated 01-APR-2004). Order quantities, delivery dates and locations, and additional contract requirements are detailed in the RFP. All work is unclassified. This pr ocurement request requires the contractor to handle chemicals (Triton X-100, Phosphate Buffered Saline, and Contrad 70) and appropriate precautions must be taken. As far as can be determined, known or suspect carcinogens are not involved.
