- The Directorate of Contracting, Fort Campbell, KY, intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Raytheon for Universal Mount, 7 ea; Power Cable, 7 ea, and Power Supply, 7 ea. NAICS code for this procurement is 335999 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. This sole source requirement will be procured under Simplified Ac quisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition, and awarded on an unrestricted basis. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES and solicitation will not be issued; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 14 days from the date of the publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirements listed. Response s received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion for the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proc eed with the sole source negotiation with the manufacturer, Raytheon. Responses are due by 7 June 2004, 4:00 p.m. (CST).
