Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Description This solicitation, number W44W9M-04-T-0171, is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-22. This solicitation is unrestricted. The associated SIC code is 5084, NAICS code is 421830. Requirements: McAlester Army Ammunition Plant has a requirement for Ramps, Steel Yard, Beacon Model BYR-16-7236-SP-45T, 16,000 LB Capacity. To include Tow Package BYR-TK-45. DO NOT SUBSTITUTE. See additional specs below. MODEL BYR-16-7236-SP-45T, CAPACITY, 16,000 LBS OVERALL WIDTH 72 INCHES, USABLE WIDTH 65 INCHES, LENGTH 36 FEET, THIS INCLUDES A 6 FOOT LEVEL OFF, CURBS 4 INCHES, LEG SET WITH 9 INCHES, STEEL WHEELS, ADJUSTABLE 45, TO 62 INCHES, LEG SET ALSO HAS AN IN DEPENDENT CRANK TO TILT BACK OUT OF THE WAY FOR TOWING WITH PNEUMATIC TIRES. Product is to be delivered to: McAlester Army Ammunition Plant, Bldg 8, 1 C Tree Road, McAlester OK, 74501. Offerors are directed to the solicitation provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items (JAN 2004), which appli es to this acquisition and is hereby incorporated by reference. Offerors are reminded to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items (JAN 2004) with its offer. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
