Description: The United States Army Communications Electronics Command (CECOM) intends to modify contract number DAAB07-00-D-D902 for the purpose of increasing the contract's ordering ceiling for the FFCS/L from 10,000 to 16,300 quantity and the MCS/L from 5,500 to 8,650 quantity. The subject contract ordering period is not being extended. The FFCS/L and the MCS/L are modular systems that provide intercom communications between crewmen and connectivity to existing radio systems. The FFCS/L and the MCS/L are use d in high noise environments. Headsets connected to an intercom system are used to prevent long-term hearing loss and enable clear understanding of commands provided. A key feature of the FFCS/L and the MCS/L is the ability to mix and matach systems with the AN/VIC-3 Vehicular Intercom System hardware. The modification will be a firm fixed price sole source to the original manufacturer, Northrop Grumman, Linthicum Heights, MD. For delivery specifications, refer to the terms and conditions set forth in t he basic contract. In accordance with FAR 5.201, any responses received will be evaluated.
