Description: This requirement is being procured in accord with FAR Part 36, Construction and Architect-Engineer Contracts and award will be made in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service intends to issue a Request for Quotations(RFQ) for the installation of 2,625' of 9 guage fencing with a double gate and a cantilever gate to close a 20' opening with electric motor and keypad. All posts are to be set in concrete. The fence will be rectangular in shape and designed to enclose the office complex.The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, equipment, materials and expertise for the job. This is not a Small Business Set-Aside in accordance with the latest quarterly adjustment under the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program. The NAICS code is 238990. The size standard is $12 Million. The estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The tentative issuance date is 05/26/04 with a closing date of 06/17/04. A firm fixed price purchase order will be issued with a performance period of 60 days from the Notice to Proceed.The anticipated award date is 06/29/04. The RFQ documents will be available electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities Web Site at HTTP://FEDBIZOPPS.GOV under RFQ No. 401814Q110. Paper copies Will NOT be available.
