Description

The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, MD 20670 intends to issue a SOLE SOURCE, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity type contract, with Precision Standard Inc. (PSI), Ferndale, Michigan for the procurement of spare VH-3D Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP) Hardened Acrylic Windows Ship Sets; Repair of VH-3D EMP Hardened Acrylic Sliding Windows to Ready for Issue (RFI) condition; and incidental Engineering Technical Support to respond to EMP Hardened Acrylic Windows installation and technical issues, as needed. The anticipated period of performance for this contract is one base year and four option years, (FY05 through FY09), with an estimated total contract dollar amount of $1.6 million, using APN-6 and O&MN funds. PSI is the only known source with the requisite knowledge, proprietary technical data, and the expertise to meet the Navy?s requirements for EMP Hardened Acrylic Windows for VH-3D aircraft.
