Description
?This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitation to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the NSWC Division Crane.? This requirement is for Countermeasures Chaff-Flare Dispenser D-66 and D-67 in accordance with Automated Data List (ADL) 3268AS500 and 3646AS500 No Revision, Statement of Work and associated drawings to be provided with the solicitation package. The Government requires a quantity of 5 each First Articles and 200 each (minimum) and 1200 each (maximum) of both the D-66 and D-67 Countermeasures Chaff-Flare Dispenser over a 5-year ordering period. The First Article quantity is due 90 days after contract award. The production quantity of D-66 is due 120 days after contract award at a quantity of 100 units with the D-67 due at 150 days after contract award at a quantity of 100 units. The remaining quantity of 100 each for both the D-66 and D-67 shall be alternated at 30-day intervals thereafter. The Government requires 30 days each for First Article and production lot acceptance testing. Contractors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration database and the Joint Certification Program. This acquisition will not be restricted. All sources will be considered. Inspection and acceptance shall be at destination. Delivery is required F.O.B. Destination. The Government intends to award to the responsible contractor whose offer is the best value to the Government considerin g past performance and price related factors. The solicitation will be available on or about 16 June 2004 at the following address: http://www.crane.navy.mil/supply/announce.htm. ?No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed?.
