- Description
- The General Services Administration, Public Buildings Services, The Center for Design Excellence and the Arts, Office of the Chief Architect intends to enter into contract with the Center for Architecture, American Institute of Architecture, New York Chapter to provide for the GSA an educational program and exhibition of GSA Design Excellence projects. The Center for Architecture, American Institute of Architecture, New York Chapter and the Design Excellence staff in the Office of the Chief Architect, GSA's Public Buildings Service, will work together to plan this event. This event is in celebration of the ten-year anniversary of GSA's Design Excellence program. The Center for Architecture will host an exhibition in the Fall of 2004 featuring approximately 15 projects, including past projects and those currently "on the boards" from around the nation. The completion of this project should be November 15, 2004. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. The government will consider any responses received by close of business June 8, 2004. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
