- NASA will present to industry an overview of recent and upcoming acquisition activities related to the implementation of the Vision for Space Exploration. The objective of this forum is to provide industry with particulars focused on the following: 1. Overview of the results of the Request For Information (RFI) for Exploration Systems; 2. Pre-proposal for the Concept Exploration and Refinement (CE&R) Broad Agency Announcement (BAA); and 3. Pre-solicitation for the Human and Robotic Technology (H&RT) System-of-Systems Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) The session will be conducted on June 18, 2004 at the U.S. Department of Commerce Auditorium, 14th and Constitution Aves. NW, Washington DC from 0830 to 1200 EST with registration beginning at 0745. Companies who plan to attend the industry day should respond to Debbie Scrivner at (202) 358-1652 or via email at Deborah.Scrivner-1@nasa.gov, by June 11, 2004. Please provide Company Name and Name/Title of each participant. Pre-registration is REQUIRED. To accommodate all interested firms, NASA requests that each company business unit or division limit the number of attendees to six (6) people. Registration particulars are as follows: - Presentations will be unclassified. - Pre-registration is REQUIRED. - Foreign national attendees are REQUIRED to submit passport number with pre-registration information. - All participants will be required to show photo identification upon arrival and will be subject to personal inspection. - If you require special assistance, please provide notification with pre-registration information. On 12th, turn right to Constitution, then right on Constitution and walk to 14th. Turn right. Building entrance is located between Constitution and Pennsylvania Aves. Driving: >From I-395 South: - Take 14th Street exit, following signs to Downtown Route 1. - Cross Constitution Avenue - Ronald Reagan International Trade Center Parking Garage will be your right. - Parking is available at the Trade Center ($15.00 for 3-10 hours - arrival before 0900) - U.S. Department of Commerce is directly across from the Trade Center. - Building entrance is located between Constitution and Pennsylvania Aves. >From I-395 North: - Take 14th Street exit, following signs to Downtown Route 1. - Cross Pennsylvania Avenue - Ronald Reagan International Trade Center Parking Garage will be your left. - Parking is available at the Trade Center ($15.00 for 3-10 hours- arrival before 0900) - U.S. Department of Commerce is directly across from the Trade Center. - Building entrance is located between Constitution and Pennsylvania Aves.
