Description: The DOMINGUEZ Hazardous Fuels Reduction Project consists of roller chopping an estimated 1008 acres. The objective of the project is to effectively treat decadent stands of Gamble Oak, sage and other shrub species in order to interrupt and modify both the vertical and horizontal continuity of the existing fuel profile. This treatment will be done by a roller chopper, Lawson Aerator of similar approved method. Specific objectives will be communicated during on-site pre-work meeting or during subsequent project inspections. Work on the project will begin 15 days after the receipt of the Notice to Proceed and be completed no later than 120 days from the Notice to Proceed.
