- PART: U.S. Government Procurements SUBPART: Supplies, Equipment and Material CLASSCOD: Potential Sources Sought OFFADD: SUBJ: Automatic Direction Finding (ADF) System REF: F09603-03-D-0101 0004 DUE: 11 June 2004 POC: Marcus Roese (478) 926-2535 DESC: The Warner Robins Air Logistics Center (WR-ALC) Robins AFB GA seeks sources and information related to the replacement of miscellaneous DF sub-systems installed on various USAF airborne weapon systems. The sub-systems currently under review include ARA-25, ARA-50 and OA-8697/ARD (DF-301E). They are installed on various weapon systems to include, but not limited to A-10, C-130, HH-60, UH-1N, MH-53J/M, and C-135 aircraft. The systems are used at various locations throughout the world. The purpose of this Market Survey/Request For Information (MS/RFI) is to identify potential sources that are capable of delivering the described replacement. For the most part and due to the age of the most of the sub-systems under review, the Government is interested in replacing the select sub-system(s) to the extent required with a common system meeting the criteria of Form, Fit, Function, and Interface (F3I). Exceptions to the criteria of F3I must be substantiated. The resolution presented must represent best value. Interested parties must be able to demonstrate the ability of having developed, integrated, and provided life cycle support for comparable system(s). Interested parties must also be able to demonstrate their ability to perform and provide verifiable evidence associated with the desire functions. Interested parties should submit: 1) Technical information and materials regarding proposed system including but not limited to performance parameters, development, and lifecycle costs, and possible delivery schedules. Performance parameters include but are not limited to electrical, physical, environmental attributes, interfaces, power, and certifications. 2) Brief description of relevant current and past projects 3) Point of Contact information. Responses to this Market Survey/RFI should be sent electronically in a Microsoft compatible format to: Marcus Roese or if mailed to: WR-ALC/LSA, Attn: Marcus Roese, 380 Richard Ray Blvd., Suite 104 Robins AFB GA 31098-1638. This MS/RFI is for planning purposes only and should not be construed as a request for proposal (RFP) or an obligation on part of the Government to acquire any follow on acquisitions. The Government does not intend to award a contract on this MS/RFI or otherwise pay for the information solicited. The information received by the Government, in response to this MS/RFI belongs to the Government and may be used by the Government in any manner needed.
