- THIS POSTING IS TO REPLACE THE PREVIOUS POSTING UNDER SOLICITATION NUMBER 2FL0506. REQUIREMENT: The U.S. Government is seeking to lease approximately 7,015 rentable square feet yielding 6,100 usable square feet of contiguous office and related space in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Space must be located in an existing prime commercial class ?A? office building with attractive, prestigious surroundings with a prevalence of modern design, tasteful rehabilitation in modern use or new construction. Further, space must be located above the first floor and below the top floor. New Build-to-Suit construction will not be considered. LOCATION: Offered properties must be located in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida within the following delineated area: SOUTH: Miramar Parkway from Dykes Road to Flamingo Road (823); EAST: University Drive from Sunrise Boulevard South to 595 West to Flamingo Road (823) South to Miramar Parkway; NORTH: Sunrise Boulevard from Saw Grass Parkway east to University Drive; WEST: Saw Grass Parkway from Sunrise Boulevard to 595West to Weston Road South to Miramar Parkway (Weston Road changes to Dykes Road). REQUIRED: All services, supplies, utilities, and tenant alterations are to be provided as part of the rental consideration. Twelve parking spaces in a parking lot/facility that offers 24 hour ?in and out? parking (i.e., no valet or requirement to leave keys) within two blocks are required. Space must be ready for occupancy by October 15, 2005 or sooner. LEASE TERM: Term is 10 years, 5 years firm, with the Government having cancellation privileges, after 5 years.
