Description

This is a pre-solicitation notice for a contractor to provide all labor, equipment, materials, transportation and supervision necessary to prepare exterior building envelope for cyclical painting and maintenance/renovation. Work shall include, but is not limited to, removal of all exterior lead based paint from the wood clapboards and trim, exterior doors and all windows. A full description of all work and locations will be identified in the Request for Quotation. All work shall be completed in strict accordance to all Federal, State and Local government laws, rules, regulations and guidelines for lead dust environments. The NAICS codes for this project is 562910. The small business size standard is $12 million. The estimated price range for this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. This project will be solicited and awarded in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, Public Law 100-656. Accordingly, this project is open to both small and large businesses. A site visit for this project will be scheduled. The date and time of this visit will be identified in the Request for Quotation. The Request for Quotation, with specifications and drawings, will be posted to websites: http://www.fedbizopps.gov and http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about June 16, 2004. No hard copies of the Request for Quotation will be mailed or issued. To receive a quote package, you must download it from http://ideasec.nbc.gov.
