- Description
- The NETCOM/9th Army Signal Command has a requirement for nonpersonal services for local telephone exchange services for Tobyhanna Army Depot, PA. The proposed contract is for a base year with four one-year options. The local exchange services provid er, certified by the state of Pennsylvania, shall provide local commercial communications service for Tobyhanna Army Depot, PA, which shall include, as a minimum but not limited to, local access for commercial subscriber lines, digital access trunks, loca l exchange digital (ISDN PRI) trunks, transport channels, and directory number and number portability. All responsible sources may submit an offer that shall be considered. Sources responding to this requirement must indicate in writing, whether they are a large, small, disadvantaged and /or women-owned business. For this acquisition, a concern will be considered small under SIC code 4813 with size standard of 1500 employees ?????? NAICS 517110. This requirement shall be a commercial, fixed price type contract. Solicitation is anticipated to be released on or about 26 May 2004. The Government will conduct a pr eproposal conference and site visit on 24 June 2004 at conference room Bldg 11, Tobyhanna Army Depot, PA. It is recommended that prospective offerors attend this conference. The conference will be from 1:00-2:00 PM (approximately) and will be followed by a site visit from 2:00 ?????? 3:00 PM. Offerors planning to attend are required to notify the specialist listed below, in writing, of all attendees?????? names (not to exceed three per company) prior to 15 June 2004. Security information and directions will be provided at that time. An e-mail response to the specialists listed below is acceptable. Questions prior to the conference must be received before 15 June 2004. Questions generated as a result of the preproposal conference must be received by 2 8 June 2004. Written responses to offeror-generated questions will be provided to all Offerors.
