- Description
- Vessel Required: U.S. or foreign flag self-sustaining vessel or tug/barge units is required. Vessel(s) shall have ramps or other suitable equipment to facilitate RO/RO operations. Contractor is to provide lashing gear. Although two voyages are contemplated, the Government may make award to one vessel for both voyages or two separate vessels for each voyage, based on what is most advantageous to the Government. If award is made to one vessel, minimum required speed of the vessel is 7.5 knots laden in moderate weather. If award is made to two vessels, minimum required speed for the vessel awarded the first voyage is 4.5 knots laden in moderate weather and for the vessel awarded the second voyage is 8.5 knots laden in moderate weather.
