Description
Site Visit for PR# F9ESDE41060100 Install Chilled Water Pumps 19 May 2004 1. PURPOSE/DETAILS: A site visit was held on 19 May 04, Building 301D on Offutt AFB at 1400 hours. The purpose of this site visit was to provide a clear understanding of the requirements and give the vendors an opportunity to view the project first-hand. All vendors received a copy of the Statement of Work (SOW). 2. ATTENDANCE: Attendence list on file. 3. QUESTIONS ADDRESSED: 1. Requirement to comply with code? Yes, absolutely all installation requirements must comply with the applicable code to include electrical and pumping. 2. Who will supply the Control Panel? The government will supply the Control Panel include wiring with the contractor supplying the control graphics. 3. Where is the Control Panel to be located? On East wall next to doorway. 4. Is there any asbestos to interfere with the installation? No asbestos near the pumps. 5. Are new valves and gagues required? Yes. 6. Are hot taps required in the lines? Yes, two pressure taps with one on each side and one temperature tap on the output side. 7. Are rubber boxes required on the new pumps? Yes, the rubber boxes provide easy access to the pumps. Questions and answers will then be posted on Fed Biz Ops. 4.OTHER ITEMS ADDRESSED: Billy Wineinger emphasized that all bidders, IAW DFARS 252.204-7004, must be registered in the CCR database by the award date. If not, the bidder will be ineligible for award. The site visit ended at 1515 hours.
