Description

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agriculture Marketing Service (AMS) Cotton Program intends to procure the following: Pickup of Cotton Samples from Gins and Warehouses at points shown in the attached specifications and the Delivery of Sacks to the USDA, AMS Cotton Program Abilene Classing Office at 24 Windmill Circle Abilene, TX 79606-5233. For Specifications and/or questions concerning the routes or the quoting process, equipment required or insurance requirements please call/email John Fox @ 325-690-9378, john.fox@usda.gov ***NORTH ROUTE (NORTH TX AND SW OK) with 21 pickups. Estimated range of sacks (12,000 ? 16,000) as per attached. Sample pickup should begin around the week of SEPTEMBER 20, 2004*** This is a 100% Small Business Set Aside using NAICS 484220 with a size standard of $21.5 million. Submit faxed quotations to John Fox @ 325-690-1659. QUOTATIONS ARE DUE JUNE 30, 2004 BY 10:00 AM Local Time. Simplified procurement procedures will be used as well as commercial item acquisition regulations per FAR 12. THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as this announcement constitutes the only solicitation.
