Description

Echocardiography and Vascular Services to be performed at the VA Medical Center, 325 New Castle Rd., Butler, PA 16001, using VA-owned equipment. Services to include interpretation. Technologists must be American Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) certified Echocardiography and Vascular Technologists. Physicians are required to be board certified. Contractor must be JCAHO accredited or have knowledge of and be in compliance with all JCAHO standards. Services to be provided during normal working hours, 8:00 a.m ? 4:30 p.m. Monday through Fridays, and include emergency coverage (all hours other than normal working hours). The number of days per week and hours per day will vary according to the number of scheduled examinations. Contract period is for one year from the date of award, plus three (3) option years to renew. Offerors must obtain the solicitation and all amendments from the web site. All questions must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer. Electronic offers are not acceptable. This solicitation is unrestricted. NAICS Code is 621999, size standard 8.5 million. The solicitation issue date is on or about June 21, 2004. The offer due date is July 22, 2004, 4:00 PM, and must be mailed to the Contracting Officer (101), VA Medical Center, 325 New Castle Rd., Butler, PA 16001.
