Description
The USAF requests industry?s input regarding the below subject matter. The USAF is in the early stages of planning for the below procurement and is in the process of gathering information regarding the competitive nature of this requirement, should a RFP be released in the future. Please forward responses to the POC listed below if your company would be interested in proposing on the below requirements. Negative responses would also be appreciated, as would any other general comments/suggestions. Description: Firm-fixed price requirements type contract for the overhaul/repair/remanufacture of the following: Noun: Combustion Chamber NSN(s): 2940-01-267-1605Z (Master NSN) Applicability: F100-100/200/220/220E. The Government anticipates a 1-Year Basic contract with four 1-Year options. OC-ALC is currently in the process of ramping up to perform this repair organically, and as such, the BEQs for this requirement would steadily decrease over the total contract period until such time as OC-ALC fully embraces this repair. An Initial Production Evaluation (IPE) may be required from awardee prior to full production. Sources must be qualified for the repair prior to evaluation of the company?s proposal. Award would not be held awaiting source approval. The USAF anticipates having 3 line items as follows: 1) Full repair minus inner liner repair, 2) inner liner repair, and 3) application of PWA 265. OC-ALC would require this application for the life of the contract (maintenance-to-maintenance type line item).
