Description

Description: 1 each; Item 0001 Ball Grid Array (BGA) Optical Inspection System. This is a combined/synopsis solicitation for commercial item prepared IAW the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Offers are being requested and no written solicitation will be issued. The following clauses are applicable to subject solicitation: FAR 52.212-1 (Instructions to Offerors), 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items), 52.212-3(Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items), 52.212-4 (Commercial Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items), and 52.212-5 (Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items). In accordance with clause 52.212-2, evaluation factors shall be price, price related factors, and IAW the following Government minimum requirements: multiple and flexible light sources capable of directing the light beam underneath electronic components on circuit card assemblies sufficient for optical inspection; camera capable of viewing under components with a minimum standoff from the board of 60mm; color video monitor; integrated Pentium IV computer with an image software analysis package w/framegrabber card, and installation will be required.
