- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation/synopsis reference number is FQ441741170500 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-12. This acquisition is UNRESTRICTED. The associated NAICS code is 423850 with a maximum of 500 employees. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, tools, parts and transportation necessary for delivery and installation. The work to be performed includes, but not necessarily limited to the following features: delivery, installation, and training for Breathing Air Equipment. The manufacturer of the existing equipment is Scott Health and Safety of Monroe, N.C. This equipment includes one (1) each 15 HP, 22 CFM Iron Black 6000psi compressor w/ LE 5000 Controller including monitor (part number: AB10-6651-03); two (2) each Air Fill Station (part number: AB10-2021-01); two (2) each Storage Cylinder (part number: AB14-5600-02); one (1) each 5 HP, 5000 psi, LE4000 air compressor (part number: AB10-6501-01); one (1) each Storage Cylinder (part number: AB14-5600-01). This required equipment should be the same or equal items. The required equipment shall be delivered to Hurlburt Field; a US Air Force Base in Fort Walton Beach, FL. Shipping costs and a breakdown for labor shall be included in pricing. The contractor shall coordinate delivery and installation with the point of contact that will be designated at a later time. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government. Technical capability of the items offered to meet the Government?s requirements and cost or price are shall be evaluated equally.
