- There will be a mandatory site visit for this solicitation on 14 June 04 at 0900, all interested parties meet at the front gate of McConnell AFB at the above-mentioned date and time. A requirements package will be provided at the site visit. This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format listed in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. FA4621-04-Q-0042 is being issued as a Request for Quotation, which incorporates provisions and clauses for commercial items in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-22 and 23. This acquisition is reserved for small business. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 337211 size stanard is 500 employees. McConnell AFB, KS plans to acquire the following items: Furniture for the Health and Wellness Center. Requirements consists of the following: (a) Front lobby area with seating for 12 people, end/coffee tables, brochure rack, display tables, 2 executive style chairs for receptionists. (b) Classroom area with adjustable height tables and seating for 30 people, (c) Two separate storage areas with shelving. (d) Small conference room consisting of a table with 4 chairs and storage/organization cabinets. (e) Rear lobby area with chair, love seat, coffee table, and large storage wall locker, (f) Three main offices with workstations and guest seating and tables. (g) Office area with two workstations and bookshelves. (h) 5 testing rooms consisting of L shaped workstation with overhead storage, task chair, and guest chair. (i) Testing room with computer console and task chair. (j) test area with mobile computer desk, stool, L shaped workstation and 2 task chairs. (k) Printer room with table and 2 task chairs. (l) relaxation room one coffee table. (m) testing room with computer armor.
