- Description
- The purpose of this modification is to attach the Statement of Work for the Youth Skateboard Camp Instructor. STATEMENT OF WORK FOR SKATEBOARD CAMP The contractor shall provide non-personal services to staff and operate a Skateboard Camp for Air Force bases listed which will be paid for by APF. Professionals, with an expertise in their field, will conduct the specialty camps. The experts will travel to the Air Force Bases to conduct the camp. Required tasks are specified herein. Contractor?s service to the base: 1. To provide children ages 10 to 16, an opportunity to learn through experience, the basic skills, newest techniques and safety measures of skateboarding and or roller blading on obstacles at various United States Air Forces in Europe locations. Camps will be conducted at the following locations during the weeks of 14 Jun-27 Aug; Alconbury, Lakenheath, Croughton, Mildenhall, Spangdahlem, Ramstein, Vogelweh, Aviano, Lajes; Incirlik. 2. Contractor to provide competent instructors with a minimum of 18 months skateboarding experience, and instruction, and desire and abilities to work with youth. 3. All Contractor staff shall meet standard youth program?s guidelines in reference to freedom of communicable disease, drug abuse and child abuse and will adhere to, enforce and encourage all safety and ethic rules of base?s skateboard park. 4. Camps will be a week in length and be conducted in 4-hour daily sessions. Camps will begin on Monday and end on Friday. The goal is to reach maximum participation within safe parameters. Contractor will provide two instructors per class during each session to maintain a 1 to 9 ratio. Class size will not exceed 27 participants. 5. Contractor to provide lesson plan for a 4-hour daily class for each day of the week to include but not limited to, safety, equipment care, basic fundamentals, and introduction into advance skills. Tailoring the lesson plan to age and capabilities at each specific camp. 6. Contractor to provide a training session to base staff and volunteers on the basics of operating a skateboard park. To include but not limited to information on: safety and liability; staffing; park design and maintenance. Contractor will provide each base with a reference guide including programming operations guide and daily lesson plans. 7. Contractor is responsible for cost of air travel, ground transportation, food and other miscellaneous costs associated with running the program. 8. HQUSAFE/CONS will provide each individual instructor a Letter of Identification for access to military installations and activities. Contract is required to provide personal data as requested. 9. Travel itineraries will be coordinated though HQUSAFE/A7SPCY. Airfare between countries (US to UK, UK to Germany, Germany to Italy etc.,) will be the responsibility of the contractor. The government will provide local ground transportation and lodging costs. All other costs associated with travel, including necessary excess baggage requirements will be the responsibility of the contactor. Meals will be the responsibility of the contactor.
