- 1. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids a re being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. 2. Invitation for Bid Number W911S1-04-B-0020. 3. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-23. 4. This procurement is being solicited unrestricted under NAICs code 334511 with a size standard of 750. 5. Bid Schedule: 5a. Basis for Award: Award shall be made to a single contractor. Bids must include prices for each item listed in order that bids may be properly evaluated. Failure to do so shall be cause for rejection of the entire bid. Award shall be made to that re sponsive, responsible contractor whose total aggregate price is low. 11. Bid opening is scheduled for 2 June 2004, 3:00pm EST. Mail your bid to Department of the Army, Army Reserve Contracting Center, Attn: Greg Fiorillo, 5418 South Scott Plaza, Fort Dix, NJ 08640-5097. The outside envelope shall indicate the solicitati on number, closing date and time. Due to restricted access to Fort Dix, contractors that will be handcarrying their bid are required to submit to the Contracting Officer a list of personnel planning to deliver the package and/or attend the bid opening at least 24 hours prior to bid opening. Contractors must also furnish the approximate time of arrival and the gate they will utilize. Contractors are cautioned that there may be delays at the gates and should allow adequate time for entering the installatio n to ensure packages are received prior to the time and date for receipt of bid . Failure for packages to be received timely may be cause for rejection of the entire bid . All individuals must have a picture ID and no substitutions are authorized. Vehic les are also subject to search. 12.
