- Description
- The Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, tools, equipment, materials, equipment replacement and repair parts, and transportation necessary to perform the requirements under the proposed contract. Information on Fort Hood may be found at www.hood.army.mil. Installation map will be provided upon award. All certifications and safety regulations are the responsibility of the Contractor. All required safety standards and regulations shall be followed. All work shall be performed in strict accordance to FH 420-1 Fire Regulations. The Contractor and his per sonnel shall follow all (America National Standard Institute) ANSI/DASMA (Door & Access Systems Manufacturer??????s Association) guidance in performing any inspections, repairs, and/or replacements of any overhead doors. Newer already installed overhead do ors may be under warranty and repaired by others. All defects in workmanship, material(s) and improper installation discovered by the Contractor during Preventive Maintenance shall be reported to the Contracting Officer so that corrective action may be ta ken. The Contracting Officer shall issue all task orders and service call work under the proposed contract. Major component replacement is any part that exceeds $500.00. Any damage incurred by the Contractor in performance of this proposed contract shall be repaired or replaced by the Contractor at no cost to the Government. Solicitation No. W9126G-04-B-0011 will be issued as an Invitation for Bids on or about 21 June 2004 with Sealed Bids due on or about 20 July 2004 at 11:00 AM. The terms of the propos ed contract will be an IDIQ contract for services, Firm Fixed Price, and will consist of a one year base period and four one-year renewal options. The Government intends to issue this solicitation and all amendments through the use of the Internet. No addi tional media (CD ROMS, Floppy Disks, Faxes or paper copies) will be provided unless the Government determines that it is necessary. Contractors may view/download this solicitation and all amendments from the Internet after solicitation issuance at http:// ebs.swf.usace.army.mil. Registration for the bidders mailing list for this solicitation can be obtained at the aforementioned web address. All offerors are required to check the Fort Worth District Contracting Division website daily to be notified of any changes to this solicitation. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business firms. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this project is 238290 with a size standard of $12M, with a corresponding SIC code of 1799.
