Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Air Combat Electronics Program Office (PMA-209) intends to award a sole source modification under Contract N00019-04-C-0106 with Duotech Services, Inc., Franklin, NC for production of approximately 120 Digital Cockpit G-Meters that will be installed in all EA-6B aircraft. Development of a replacement cockpit G-Meter for the EA-6B aircraft was awarded to Duotech Services in April 2004 under other than full and open competition, 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(2) as implemented by FAR 6.302-2, unusual and compelling urgency, due to a safety of flight risk caused by the existing mechanical G-Meter. As the developer of the replacement Digital Cockpit G-Meter for EA-6B, Duotech Services, Inc. is the only known source with the knowledge, expertise and technical data required to meet critical performance and schedule requirements for production deliveries to begin November 2004. While this notice is not intended as a solicitation, interested parties are advised that they must currently have existing products capable of fulfilling all of the Government?s requirements, including the delivery requirements, in order to receive any consideration.
