Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Storm Drain Replacement (exterior) of Hangar Building located at U.S. Coast Guard Air Station San Francisco, CA. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested. HSCG31-04-Q-BA032 is issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ). Scope of Work: Work covered in this project includes all materials, labor, equipment and services and all operations necessary to complete the following projects. 01) Remove existing storm drainage pipes. 02) Inspect roof top storm drains. 03) Install new storm drainage pipes. In general the work includes but is not limited to the following: 01) Remove existing storm drainage pipes to the point where they exit the main hangar space. Existing storm drainage pipes connect to 14 roof top storm drains to the existing storm drainage system. Existing pipes are made of metal and are severely rusting through. Numerous leaks exist throughout the system. Existing storm drainage system lies approximately 50 feet above the level of the hangar deck floor. 02) Inspect the 14 roof top storm drains for severe corrosion. If existing drains are unable to properly function, repair or replace as needed. 03) Install new storm drainage pipes. Replace with appropriate piping as dictated by building code with similar drainage capability of existing system. Replacement system shall follow the general configuration of the existing system. Entire project shall not limit use to the hangar deck below by more than one quarter at a time. POC(s) to arrange for a site visit: LT Jared E.
