Description
The Federal Aviation Administration has a requirement to upgrade the mechanical and electrical systems for the Air Traffic Control Tower and Base Building @ Greater Buffalo International Airport located in Buffalo NY and should be completed with sixty (60) days. Please review this notice on www.asu.faa.gov Go to FAST, Contracting Opportunitities for complete information. This Screeing Information Request (SIR) is 100% set aside for 8(A)SEDB companies. The NAICS Code is 238210. Companies that qualify may request a copy of the Screening Informatin Request (solicitation) by faxing a request to 718-995-5685, Attn: Maria Rosu. Due to a time restraint, all fax requests must be received by 4:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time on Friday, June 4, 2004. After verification on 8(A) SEDB Status, along with a Small Business Administration (SBA) certification letter, the solicitation will be provided. There is a limit of five (5) copies of the Solicitation available. Requests received after the limit has been reached will not receive a response from the Government, however, an announcement will be made naming the five (5) companies who have been sent the solicitation. Requests for the soliciation will be controlled based on the time and date as it appears on the faxed request. Estimated cost of this project is between $300,000 and $400,000. The Government is seeking offers that provide a combination of quality and price in order to select the greatest value or "Best Buy" Offer. Therefore, award may be made to other than the lowest offer. Evaluation of proposals will rely heavily on Technical Experience and Past Performance. A pre-proposal conference is scheduled for June 9, 2004 @ 10:00 a.m. at Greater Buffalo International Airport. Due to security reasons, NO OTHER DATES WILL BE AVAILABLE. Offers shall contact Maria Rosu, Contracting Officer on 718-553-3084 within forty eight (48) hours prior to conference date to confirm attendance. Offerors attending the pre-proposal conference shall provide Name, Driver's License Number and vehicle tag number. Offers will be accepted from only those contractors who have attended the pre-proposal conference to assure a full understanding of the requirements.
